SANDPOINT POLICE

May 31

After a welfare check request at 7:04 a.m., an officer checked on residents in the 1000 block of Spruce Street and advised they were fine.

Aaron L Martin, 37, no permanent address, was cited in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue at 8:18 a.m. on a charge of petit theft.

An officer kept the peace in the 1400 block of Church Street at 8:21 a.m. while a female retrieved her belongings.

An officer was unable to locate a suspicious male reported in the area of the 1200 block of Walnut Street at 10:06 a.m.

An officer checked a residence in the 1100 block of Florence Avenue at 10:58 a.m. at the request of a realty company out of Coeur d’Alene.

After a welfare check request in the area of Forest Avenue and Oak Street, an officer checked on a juvenile male and advised he was fine.

Officers were unable to locate a vehicle in the 474000 block of Highway 95 at 1:13 p.m. with an infant not properly strapped in.

An officer contacted a family panhandling in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 1:31 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a vehicle reported to be blocking traffic in the area of Fifth and Pine at 1:39 p.m.

An officer answered on questions in the Lake Street area regarding a civil standby at 3:08 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate any speeding vehicles in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue at 5:37 p.m.

Kathleen D. Ribeiro, 23, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 800 block of Hickory Glen Avenue at 8:23 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.

An officer was canceled while en route to assist Ponderay Police in the 476700 block of Highway 95 at 10 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate a male and female involved in a possible domestic in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue at 10:39 p.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement regarding a potential problem in the 200 block of Division Avenue at 6:25 p.m.

June 1

Christopher R. Simon, 19, of Ponderay, was cited on charges of driving without privileges and misdemeanor no insurance in the 1100 block of Michigan Street at 3:03 a.m.
