An unattended death was reported on Reeder Bay Road in Nordman at 5:33 p.m.

Daryl Garis, 55, was cited on E. Superior Street in Sandpoint at 6:05 p.m. on a charge of driving without a current license.

A case was assigned to cover a controlled substance incident in the area of Eleventh Street and W. Jefferson Avenue in Priest River at 9:58 p.m.

A citizen assist was reported in the 6000 block of Spirit Lake Cutoff Road at 10:18 p.m.

Dana Northern was arrested in the Highway 2 area in Oldtown at 11:47 p.m. on charges of unlawful possession of firearm, trafficking heroin, and trafficking methamphetamine; Miguel Roque was arrested at the same time and location on charges of trafficking heroin, trafficking methamphetamine, and two outstanding Kootenai County warrants.

June 7

Deputies responded to a reported family offense on Kluth Street in Priest River at 4:21 p.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

June 6

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred in the 100 block of N. Fourth Avenue at 1:21 p.m.

A minor-injury, vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision was reported in a parking lot in the 100 block of Cedar Street at 1:29 p.m. An officer advised that neither party was on scene.

An officer assisted Health & Welfare/Child Protective Services on Pine Street at 1:20 p.m.

Officers were requested to check on a resident in the 300 block of S. Second Avenue at 1:32 p.m.; she was found deceased of natural causes.

Extra patrol was requested to monitor the new stop signs at the intersection of Fifth and Church at 3:43 p.m.

A theft was reported on S. Division Avenue at 3:58 p.m.

An officer contacted and identified a suspicious male in the 100 block of S. Fourth Avenue at 4:36 p.m. He was sent on his way.

After a report of child neglect on S. Florence at 6:21 p.m., an officer advised the call was already being handled by Child Protective Services and Coeur d’Alene Police as the child was there.

Report of a disabled train blocked the crossing in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Ebbett Way at 6:30 p.m. for an extended period of time.

Sandpoint officers assisted ISP on a traffic stop on Highway 95 in Sagle at 8 p.m.

Officers assisted Ponderay Police in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 8:53 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on N. Division Avenue at 10 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate a female yelling in the area of the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 11:22 p.m.

June 7

Officers were unable to contact the other party involved in a verbal altercation in the 200 block of Halley Street at 12 a.m.

June 6

An officer responded to a domestic dispute in the 476600 block of Highway 95 at 11:53 a.m.

A theft was reported on Highway 95 at 1:29 p.m.

An officer received a report in reference to a one-vehicle, non-injury crash in the 200 block of Bonner Mall Way at 1:55 p.m.

An officer received a 911 call from the 30900 block of Highway 200 at 3:11 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of threats in the 30400 block of Highway 200 at 5:43 p.m.

Erik N. Ball, 22, of Ponderay was arrested in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 8:53 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.

An officer responded to an information in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 9:52 p.m.

June 6

Information was provided to law enforcement on Highway 2 at 12:04 p.m.
