Middle school students honored for 'outstanding' academics

On June 6, 102 Sandpoint Middle School students were presented with president's awards for outstanding academic achievement and excellence.
Seventy students received the President's Award for Outstanding Acade helped drive U.S. indexes once again to record heights mic Excellence. The criteria for this award is a 3.5 or above cumulative GPA, and scoring at the 85th percentile or above on a standardized test of academic achievement. In addition, 32 students received the President's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. The criteria for this award is an overall middle school GPA of 3.33 or above.
