Middle school students honored for 'outstanding' academics

On June 6, 102 Sandpoint Middle School students were presented with president's awards for outstanding academic achievement and excellence.

Seventy students received the President's Award for Outstanding Acade helped drive U.S. indexes once again to record heights mic Excellence. The criteria for this award is a 3.5 or above cumulative GPA, and scoring at the 85th percentile or above on a standardized test of academic achievement. Students receiving this award were Jake Aitken, Marcus Anderson, Taylor Beauchene, Bridgette Bennett, Kristopher Berget, Connor Bird, Stephanie Bishop, Katelyn Bokowy, Mandy Brown, Jordan Cassidy, Manuel Cheung Zhang, Elek Christoferson, Ellen Clark, Faith Clark, Haley Dessert, Cherra Dewey, Kayla Flint, Jaycee Forell, Kierra Forell, Isabel Francis, Gabrielle Hicks, Jesse Huus, Joshua Jessen, Annaby Kanning, Christopher Kappen, Konner Kellogg, Sydnie Knepper, Christopher Koch, Nora Kusler, Serenity Landis, Stone Lee, Jodi Leeson, Samuel Leeson, Jett Lucas, Ketil Lund Anderson, Olivia Lynch, Chloe Martin, Raelyn McArthur, Rebecca McKnight, Libby McLaughlin, Autumn Morgan, Tara Murray, Darby Neu, Camille Neuder, Abigail Paddack, Rachel Peck, Gabriella Perry, Vincent Personeni, Parker Prior, Blake Puckett, Kira Ramey, Kami Raver, Dillon Rawlings, Ryan Robinson, Samuel Robinson, Taylor Sadewic, Stephanie Sfeir, Caitlyn Smith, Kaitlyn Stewart, Max Thielbahr, Luke Thompson, Madison Tibbetts, KayLee Tillberg, Matthew Waggoner, Grace Walker, Wyatt Waud, Isaac Webb, Brigit Wilder, Sabrina Wilson, and Andrew Wittmann.

In addition, 32 students received the President's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. The criteria for this award is an overall middle school GPA of 3.33 or above. The students receiving this award were Devona Alderman, Grant Bansemer, Sam Becker, Michelle Bishop, Avery Bocksch, Haley Carson, Riley Cessna, Cece Deprez, Jaden Dickinson, Terrin Dustman, Maddy Garman, AnnaMarie Gonzalez, Damian Jahn, Braden Johnson, Chandler Kees, Zach Kohal, Samantha Koster, Annaka McClelland, Luke McClintick, Conagher McCown, Tyler McNamee, Glacier Meador, Peyton Mullen, Isabella Phillips, Konner Pierce, Ethan Reed, Michael Riley, Jaden Rosenau, Chandler Sanborn, Alia Schmitt, Lucas Stebbins, and Kinzie Ward.
