| June 23, 2017 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — There will be more than 14,000 games of hoop played this weekend on the streets of Spokane, with a number of Sandpoint teams representing at the biggest outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournament on earth.

More than 6,000 teams will be in action on Saturday and Sunday at Hoopfest, and in year’s past, Sandpoint teams have claimed a number of bracket championships. It’s a safe bet some local teams will be contending once again this year.

More than 225,000 people will be packed into downtown Spokane, watching non-stop hoops on 450 courts spanning 45 city blocks. Among them will be teams from Sandpoint and Clark Fork.

Regardless of how your team finishes, snap a picture and send it to the Daily Bee for publication in the sports page.

Send pics, with team name, final results, and names of the players as they appear in the picture, to eplummer@bonnercountydailybee.com. They will run in future sports pages as received.

Good luck Bonner County Ballers.

Check ball.
