Memorial Community Center announces its tailgate sale

Calling all vendors — Memorial Community Center’s annual Tailgate Sale is coming up.

The sale will be held at the center, 415 Wellington Place (just off Highway 200 and Centennial Road) in Hope on Saturday, July 1, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

MCC officials said they welcome any and all types of vendors as the sale offers a great time for cleaning out the garage or storage unit and getting rid of those unused or unwanted items.

Want to make some extra cash? The cost to rent a 10-foot by 10-foot space is $15. Tables are available to rent for an additional $5.

Don’t have anything to sell? Come shop for special treasures!

Don’t want a space, but have items to donate? Donate them to the center for sale at the event.

In addition, the Whispering Pines 4-H Club will have great bake sale items and other lunch items available to purchase as well. All proceeds go to the Memorial Community Center and the Whispering Pines 4-H Club.
