Mini Hawk, Tiny Hawk sports camps offered soon

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Parks and Rec is partnering with Skyhawks to offer the Mini Hawk Sports Camp for kids ages 4–7 years-old.

Session No. 2 runs from July 5-7, with a $109 class fee. Each session will meet at Travers Park (2102 Pine st) from 9 a.m.-noon.

The Mini Hawk Camp is a baseball, basketball and soccer program designed to give young children a fun and positive first step into athletics. Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace.

n Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp (ages 3-4 years-old)

Sandpoint Parks and Rec is partnering with Skyhawks to offer the Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp for kids ages 3–4. Session No. 2 runs from July 5-7, with a cost $40. Campers will meet at Travers Park (2102 Pine st) from 8–8:45 a.m. each day.

The Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp is designed specifically for pre-school aged kids. It will introduce the essentials of soccer through games and activities, balance exploration, hand/eye coordination and skill development. Participants must be toilet trained in order to participate.
