I wish to write in support of Cary Kelly for District 5 for the Lake Pend Oreille School Board.

I have known Cary for over 15 years and know he has dedicated his life to serving all of us. He served our nation by first being a career fighter pilot with the Marines, then he ably served our county as commissioner for the last four years. It is now his mission to contribute again, to help improve our school system and serve the students of the Sandpoint area.

Cary’s dedication for the Lake Pend Oreille School District originates from his close association over many years after having five grandchildren within the system.

Cary’s exceptional innate intelligence and will to succeed has been shown through his ability to surmount great odds. Myself, coming from the University of Southern California, I know the inadequate education he received at Stanford, yet he was able to surmount this and succeed despite such great limitations.

Cary’s life has been one of extraordinary leadership at all levels. His intelligence, good humor, management skills, and love of his community mean we all need Cary Kelly to serve us again.
