Auction to benefit KRFY, UI cyclocross course

KRFY Community Radio and the University of Idaho Cyclocross Course have teamed up to present a Viggo Mortensen art auction.

Actor, musician and artist, Viggo Mortensen, has generously donated a select group of his signed framed and matted photographic prints, books and music CDs to help with the fundraising goals these two local non-profit organizations.

The community is invited to the art auction opening and reception on Saturday, May 6, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The event will take place at Syringa Cyclery, 518 Oak St.

The auction is an online auction hosted at: biddingforgood.com/krfy. You can preview the items now.

The auction runs from May 6 to May 21.

The University of Idaho cyclocross course hosts a fall cyclocross event, Crosstoberfest, that draws interest from throughout the Pacific Northwest and benefits Team Autism 24/7.

Stop by Syringa Cyclery, 518 Oak St., Saturday, May 6, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. to view the art, books, and CDs. There will be folks there to talk about the benefiting organization and how to log in to participate in the online art auction.
