I have been friends and neighbors with Gary Suppiger and his beautiful family for 25 years. Our children are similar ages and are great friends.

Gary played a major role in guiding his children’s education as well as volunteering in their schools in capacities such as math club teacher. His guidance and his children’s hard work resulted in all three becoming Valedictorians at SHS and has led all three to major successes in their college careers. His oldest daughter was just accepted into medical school and his son graduated from Duke and went on to obtain a master’s degree in engineering for Boise State University. His children are all bright, respectful, kind, compassionate and high achieving.

I was honored when Gary asked me to tutor his daughter, Caroline, to help prepare her for the SAT test. I quickly found that Gary had immersed himself in the test so that he could further guide his children. I was so impressed at his breadth of knowledge of all of the skill sets on the test. This was further verification that Gary knows more about the school system and the path to academic success than probably anyone in Sandpoint except for maybe the teachers and administrators.

In addition, Gary is a successful businessman. Gary will make sure that our educational investment dollars will go to the most efficient and productive areas to assure excellent results for our children. Please vote May 16, for Gary Suppiger Zone 2.
