I am pleased to write this letter showing my support for Anita Perry for LPOSD, Zone 5. Anita has a longstanding excellent reputation in the community for honest, genuine concern and commitment to Sandpoint and Bonner County. She is a bright, talented lady whose past work experience includes years of management positions in the School of Education at Cal State and in law enforcement agencies, dealing with diverse groups, communities, complicated budgets and the financial workings of those agencies will make her an excellent school board member.

Her positive, calm nature assures she won’t let emotions overrule common sense decision making on hard issues. She continually gives to the community in many capacities. She has always been eager to pitch in and go the extra mile to help whenever asked.

Her passion for quality education includes a vision where parents are in charge of students’ education, teachers can use their creativity to effectively teach, and school budgets are appropriate but not bloated.

Her willingness to find solutions to everyday problems will make her an instant success on the LPOSD board. I believe Anita’s skills and talents will allow her to hit the ground running in this position and reinforce LPOSD on a positive correct path for current and future success. Her forward thinking and preparedness to tackle hard issues head-on are desired traits and are the foundations for good solid leadership. I am pleased to endorse Anita Perry without any reservations and believe she will be a great addition to the LPOSD.
