City announces cleanup week

SANDPOINT — The city of Sandpoint has scheduled its annual citywide cleanup for the week of June 5-9. City crews will assist city residents (no commercial) by hauling away appliances, furniture, household items, etc. upon phone request only.

Pickup guidelines:

- No electronic/hazardous items will be picked up including TVs, computer monitors, batteries, paint or tires.

- Construction materials are not eligible.

- Branch and leaf pickup has been completed so will not be eligible under this effort.

- To schedule a pick up, you must call Dyan at the City Shop before June 4 at 263-3428, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

- Items must be separated by appliances, metal, and household and placed at the curb or next to the street with your assigned number by June 4.
