While talking with many business people here in Bonner County, one of the constant refrains is that they have trouble finding new workers with some basic skills.

Three of the candidates running for the school board are very aware of this situation and are backers of improving the vocational training in our county as well as FFA. Our school system needs to be inclusive to offer more programs to those students who enjoy working with their hands and physically problem solving.

Please consider Victoria Zeischegg, Anita Perry, and Richard Miller. Let’s take a fresh look at our schools.
