I’m often befuddled by the never-ending political turmoil in the United States, but not as confused lately as with the irrational reaction of the past presidential election. OK, I get the fact that half the nation is upset with the surprising outcome that came around the corner like a herd of unicorns. In fact, I have to pinch myself every day to waken to the reality that Mr. Donald Trump is our new commander in chief.

The reaction by the left, however, has gone off the proverbial deep end, which it often does, and one doesn’t have to list all the riotous activities that are as numerous as a wild charge of lemmings. Now, I can understand the reaction if Mr. Trump had beaten Abraham Lincoln, or George Washington, or Thomas Jefferson, or Franklyn Delano Roosevelt. But Hillary Clinton? I mean she’s got more baggage than fifty airports.
