'Orient Express' chugs into the Panida

In a special limited release, the Panida Theatre brings Agatha Christie’s classic of suspense, “Murder on the Orient Express” to Sandpoint now through Nov. 30.

It’s a tale of 13 strangers stranded on a train where murder most puzzling occurs and everyone — now matter how innocent they may seem — is a suspect. Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot delicately unravels the complex tapestry of murder as a dazzling new constellation of stars brings the intriguing characters to life, including Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, and Josh Gad.

Tickets are available online at panida.org and at the door starting 30 minutes before each showing.

Dates and times are Nov. 17 at 5:30 p.m., Nov. 19 at 3:30 p.m., Nov. 20, 21, 22, 23 at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 24 at 1:30 and 5:30 p.m., Nov. 26 at 3:30 p.m. and Nov 27, 28, 29, 30 at 7:30 p.m.

The film is reated PG-13.
