Parks and Rec Youth Volleyball league on tap

SANDPOINT — There is still time to register and join Sandpoint Parks and Rec for another exciting season of Youth Volleyball for all youth in grades 3-6. Play will be split into 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade teams.

Practice will be held once a week, with games played on Saturday mornings at Sandpoint Middle School from Nov. 4 through Dec. 16, with no play or practice Thanksgiving week.

The fees are: 1 Player- $38 County/$33 City; 2 Player- $66 County/$56 City; and 3 Players- $89 County/$79 City. Jerseys are $14, and mandatory for participation. Partial scholarships are available upon request.

Volunteer coaches are needed. A Coaches meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Friday, Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1123 Lake St. All coaches will be contacted. Pick a meeting to attend.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 4. Pre-Register at City Hall in the Parks and Rec Department, located at 1123 Lake St. You can now register online by visiting our www.sandpointidaho.gov/parksrecreation and clicking on the Program registration link.
