BF man killed in Wednesday crash

BONNERS FERRY — A Boundary County man was killed after he lost control of his vehicle while southbound on Highway 95 near Bonners Ferry on Wednesday afternoon.

Idaho State Police said John A. Crump, 49, of Bonners Ferry was southbound when he lost control of his black 1984 Ford 700 truck near milepost 508.5 and rolled the truck. Crump, who was not wearing seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.

Crump’s passenger, Ronald Erickson, 48, of Bonners Ferry was transported to Boundary Community Hospital. His condition is not known at this time.

The highway was blocked for approximately three hours.
