Deputies responded to the Bottle Bay area in Sagle for a 911 hang-up at 6:33 a.m.

A parking problem was reported in the 5000 block of Schweitzer Mountain Road at 7:46 a.m.

Sarah Kokot, 36 was arrested for harboring a known fugitive, a felony offense, on Schneider’s Road in Sagle at 8:47 a.m.; and Johnny Johnson, 41, was arrested on three felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant at the same time and location.

An unattended death was reported on Martindale Lane at 8:07 a.m.

An out-of-state Bonner County homeowner in the Campbell Homestead Road area in Priest River asked to speak to a deputy at 9:33 a.m.

Request to speak with a deputy about a civil problem in Oldtown at 10:36 a.m.

A 911 hang up was reported on Colburn Culver Road at 11:19 a.m.

Report of a hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of Edgemere Cutoff Road in Priest River at 12:21 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Lost in the Woods Lane in Athol at 12:22 p.m.

Report of suspicious circumstances in the 2300 block of Southside School Road in Cocolalla at 1:23 a.m.

Report of a disorderly male in the area of Fourth Street and Summit Boulevard in Priest River at 2:04 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Oct. 10

A train experiencing mechanical problems was moving again when the officer arrived in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Baldy Mountain Road after a complaint at 5:59 a.m.

A large log way lying in the roadway in the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue and causing a traffic hazard at 6:28 a.m.

A backpack was reported taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of S. Lincoln Avenue at 8:29 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on N. Fourth Avenue at 9:09 a.m.

Report at 11:35 a.m. of the theft of a bicycle in the 200 block of Cedar Street on Friday, Oct. 6.

Parking complaint regarding construction workers parking in the two-hour spots in the area of Church Street and N. First Avenue at 12:15 p.m.

An officer checked on an abandoned camp near the water’s edge in the area of S. Ella Avenue and Elm Street at 1:10 p.m.

An officer advised a theft reported in the 600 block of Larch Street at 3:39 p.m. was unfounded.

Verbal threats were reported in the 1600 block of Spruce Street at 4:47 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a vehicle parked near the railroad tracks on Railroad Depot Road after a complaint at 5:16 p.m.

After a male juvenile reported being followed by an older male in the Highway 2 area at 6:35 p.m., an officer contacted the suspect and advised he has developmental issues and there was no criminal intent.

Possible harassment was reported in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street at 7:28 p.m.

Chad Simons, 33, of Sandpoint was arrested in the Highway 95 area in Ponderay at 7:36 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant.

A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1100 block of Michigan Street. An officer advised John Bell, 59, of Sandpoint reportedly struck the Dairy Depot building and left the scene. He and his vehicle were later located at his residence.

Report of a 911 hang-up on Poplar Street at 10:52 p.m.

Oct. 11

After possible suspicious activity was reported at a residence in the 700 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 12:05 a.m., officers contacted homeowner and found the claims to be unfounded.

Oct. 10

Tyler M. Case, 33, of Sagle was cited in the 500 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 2:08 p.m. on a charge of battery.

An officer responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 12:27 p.m.

An officer responded to a non-injury crash in the 477100 block of Highway 95 at 3:23 p.m.
