The First Presbyterian Church and Cedar Hills are pleased to offer a half-day retreat on Christian contemplative prayer on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 8:45 a.m.-1 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 417 N. Fourth Ave. The retreat team presenting is Sharon Anderson, Deborah Dickerson and Karen Heberling.

The “Be Still and Know that I Am God Retreat” is for anyone, experienced or new to contemplative practice. Come join the congreagations as they explore and practice methods of Christian contemplative prayer.
