BONNER COUNTY 1ST NOTICE OF ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Election will be held in Bonner County, Idaho on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at each of the polling places noted below and that on said Election Day the polls will be open continuously from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and that each polling place is handicapped accessible. Elections will be conducted on behalf of the following taxing districts: City of Clark Fork will hold an election for Mayor and two open seats on the City Council. Each of these positions will be a four year term. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Clark Fork will be eligible to vote in this election. The Clark Fork voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Dover will hold an election for two open four year seats on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Dover will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Baldy, Dover, and Washington voting precincts will be open for this election. City of East Hope will hold an election for two open seats on the City Council with four year terms, and one open seat on the City Council with a two year term. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of East Hope will be eligible to vote in this election. The Hope voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Hope will hold an election for two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Hope will be eligible to vote in this election. The Hope voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Kootenai will hold an election for two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Council Member Seat #1 and Council Member Seat #3 are both open. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Kootenai will be eligible to vote in this election. The Kootenai voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Oldtown will hold an election for two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Oldtown will be eligible to vote in this election. The Oldtown voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Ponderay will hold an election for two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. There will also be a question asking the voters to approve a Local Option Non-Property Tax. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Ponderay will be eligible to vote in this election. The Kootenai voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Priest River will hold an election for Mayor, and two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Priest River will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of East Priest River and Priest River West City voting precincts will be open for this election. City of Sandpoint will hold an election for three open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Sandpoint will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Airport, Baldy, Humbird, Sandpoint, and Washington voting precincts will be open for this election. Northside Fire District will hold an election for two open four year seats on the Board of Directors. Only registered voters residing in the Northside Fire Protection Taxing District will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Airport, Baldy, Colburn, Grouse Creek, Kootenai, Oden and Selle voting precincts will be open for this election. Spirit Lake Fire District will hold an election for one open four year seat on the Board of Directors. Only registered voters residing in the Spirit Lake Fire Protection Taxing District will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Edgemere, Oldtown and Spirit Valley voting precincts will be open for this election. Timberlake Fire District will hold an election for two open four year seats on the Board of Directors. Only registered voters residing in the Timberlake Fire Protection Taxing District will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Careywood and Kelso voting precincts will be open for this election. Westside Fire District will hold an election for one open four year seat on the Board of Directors. Only registered voters residing in the Westside Fire Protection Taxing District will be eligible to vote in this election.
