Thomas Edward Pick, 85

Thomas Edward Pick, 85, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Tom was born on Oct. 2, 1932, in Greeley, Colo., to Earl and Pearl Pick. His parents and his three brothers grew up in Estes Park, Colo., and moved to California on his tenth birthday. At 19 he married the love of his life, Ruthi Pick; she was 18. Together they built their family on love, respect, and a deep belief in Jesus Christ. They moved their family to Idaho when Tom was 33.

He was a family loving, home building, clock making, grandkid playing, strength bearing, bike fixing, bird house creating, hand holding, pillar of a man.

Tom was survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruthi Pick; his son, Greg Pick; and daughter, Jaynee (Pick) Wise; his five grandchildren; and his seven great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Pearl; as well as his three brothers, Ferrel, Donald, and David Pick.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend his memorial service at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at the Sandpoint Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2235 Pine St., Sandpoint, Idaho. Pastor Alvaro Sauza will officiate.
