SANDPOINT — Sandpoint High School students are seeking the community’s help to travel to New York City to attend Model United Nations where they will meet with others students from around the world to discuss global topics.

The community is invited to attend the International Evening benefit on Saturday, Sept. 23, 6-9 p.m. for a silent auction at the Columbia Bank building and taste the delicious international food prepared by SHS Model U.N. students and by Tango Cafe. Students will be dressed in international attire and each student will give a brief speech about the country they have chosen to represent.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Admission is $25 for 1 or $40 for two. Tickets will be available at the door or from any SHSMUN student or Mrs. Smith, debbie.smith@lposd.org, Room W-17 SHS, or 208-263-3024, ext. 4173.)
