Bulldogs 8th in Bronze Bracket at River City Duals

POST FALLS — Sandpoint lost a trio of tight duals to cap the second day of the River City Duals on Saturday at Post Falls High School, finishing 8th in the Bronze Bracket.

Isaiah Fleck (160), Hyrum Hunsaker (170) and Andrew Webster (182) each registered pins in a close 42-37 loss to Ephrata, as the Bulldogs dropped to 3-9 in duals on the season after losses against the second teams of Post Falls and Lakeland in the 34 team tourney.

Hunsaker continued his strong senior season by posting three pins in another strong showing.

Sandpoint returns to action on Friday, at 6 p.m. during the annual Battle for the Paddle festivities against a Lakeland team that is among the best in the state in the 4A ranks.
