Come hear answers to all your questions

| August 8, 2019 1:00 AM

Whether you are a mom wondering how to talk to your child about sex, a woman facing the challenges of menopause or just a woman looking for answers to questions about sexual health, you won’t want to miss this open and honest conversation at the August 7B Women’s luncheon with Tabitha Barron as the guest speaker. The title of her talk is Answers to Questions You are Afraid to Ask.

Barron is a women’s health nurse practitioner with nine years of experience in the practice of women’s health and working in OBGYN environments. Barron owns a solo practice, Applegate Health Care, formerly known as Women’s Health Care. Her specialties include contraception, menopause, pelvic pain, anxiety and depression, and sexual health. Barron enjoys one-on-one collaboration with her patients and provides a welcoming and holistic approach to health care.

“Since the moment she began practicing in Sandpoint, Tabitha has earned the trust and admiration of many women in the area,” said Patty Hutchens, vice president of 7B Women. “She is compassionate and extremely open and honest when it comes to addressing many issues some women feel uncomfortable talking about.”

This specific topic has mature themes and is geared toward adult women. If you would like more information to decide if this is a good fit for you and your guest, please reach out to the board for clarification.

The 7B Women’s August luncheon will take place on Tuesday, August 13, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tango Café and is open to everyone in the community. The cost is $21 or $16 if you are a member of 7B Women, Inc. Individual memberships cost $50 per year and can be paid online at the group’s website, 7BWomen.com.

Please note that due to the high participation in the past and so Tango Café can adequately prepare for the luncheon, pre-registration is highly encouraged.

If people would like an opportunity to promote their business at the luncheon, attendees are asked to bring an item to raffle and will be given a “minute with the mic” during the course of the luncheon. Because of the number of raffle items that have been donated in recent months and the time constraints of the luncheon, 7B Women is limiting the opportunity for a minute with the mic to current 7B Women members only.

Register online at 7BWomen.com and you can also purchase your raffle tickets ahead of time to avoid standing in line at check in and optimizing your networking time. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.
