Week ahead boasts more than its fair share of fun
SANDPOINT – It’s been a mixed bag, weather-wise, so far this month. And the entertainment fare is just as varied. This week boasts concerts galore, including dinner shows at DiLuna’s, a free lunchtime ukulele concert on Monday with Ukulele Dave at The Library and the Jocelyn and Chris Arndt Band on Wednesday as part of the Sandpoint Summer Series.
Check the Panida’s website for their movie schedule, but don’t miss the free flicks on Friday night, as KRFY Community Radio hosts the classic ‘Woodstock’ at the Panida and the Movie in the Park series shows ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ at Lakeview Park.

Thursday, Aug. 15
Sandpoint Arts & Culture Roundtable

KRFY presents ‘Woodstock’

KRFY Community Radio hosts this 3-hour director’s cut of the classic rockumentary, ‘Woodstock,’ which chronicles the legendary three-day music festival that took place in 1969.
Movie in the Park – ‘How to Train Your Dragon’
Venue: Lakeview Park (next to museum), in Sandpoint.
Time: Dusk
This community event, presented by the Bonner County History Museum, Pine Street Dental and Sandpoint Parks and Recreation will be showing ‘Sing’ under the stars in Lakeview Park. Movie begins at dusk. Museum entrance is also free prior to the start of the movie!

Artists’ Studio Tour

The Lark & The Loon
Venue: DiLuna’s Cafe, 207 Cedar St., in Sandpoint.

The Lark and the Loon are a songwriting duo consisting of husband/wife team Jeff Rolfzen and Rocky Steen-Rolfzen. Seasoned performers at home and abroad Jeff and Rocky bring their songs to life with a shotgun shell crate turned stomp box, antique washboard, accordion, resonator guitar, and other acoustic instruments.
