Thorell, Navarro engaged to wed

Anna Thorell of California and Guillermo Martín Navarro of Spain, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The pair met on March 6, 2016, during a night out in the city of Madrid.

Anna received a master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from the University of Alcalá in Spain and her teaching certification from UC Davis. She is employed as a Spanish teacher at a California school.

Guillermo will be moving to the community as soon as his visa has been approved. He is studying at the European University of Madrid under the Federación Madrileña de Montaña to become a mountain sports technician and looks forward to bringing his skills to the area.

Anna was born in Sandpoint, Idaho and is the daughter of Lennart and Carole Thorell. Guillermo was born in Madrid, Spain and is the son of Enrique Martín de la Fuente and María Josefa Navarro Bartolozzi.

The marriage will take place next summer in California.
