Mark Tucker, 58

Mark Tucker was born on Oct. 18, 1960, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and left us on August 21, 2019, at the age of 58, doing what he enjoyed most, fishing.

Mark enjoyed the outdoors, the lake and camping with his family.

He boxed for over 10 years. He won numerous Golden Glove championships. When boxing in his hometown of Sandpoint, he always dazzled the fans with many knockouts.

He went to school in Hope and then Sandpoint. He worked as a foreman at Riley Creek Lumber, then for DB Construction.

He is survived by Lisa Wilson, his long-time girlfriend, his sons, Eric Plaster of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Bob (Crystal) Tucker of Sandpoint, Clarence Tucker of Sagle, and honorary son Derek Ross of Clark Fork, Idaho, as well as eight grandchildren and a great-grandson. He is also survived by his mother, Louise Tucker of Sandpoint; his, dad, Delvin (Joyce) Tucker of Newport, Washington; a brother, Delvin Brad Tucker of Sandpoint; his sisters, Linda (Rick) Voorhies of Sagle, and Kim Edwards of Sandpoint; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by a sister, Terry Lee Tucker of Eugene, Ore.

There will be a celebration of life and potluck at Garfield Bay at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.
