Let the users pay for proposed recreation districts

| August 25, 2019 1:00 AM

When will enough ever be enough in taxes? Sandpoint is wishing for some recreation district and will likely ask for some voter-approved local option in the not-too-distant future. Now Ponderay wants one for the same thing. And Sandpoint residents will pay as we shop at Walmart and Yoke’s and several other businesses there.

Guess what? I don’t want, and will never use, indoor walking tracks, soccer, handball, or any other facility like that and I’m not paying for it. You want it, you pay for it!. Pay to play. I got better things to do with my money, like scratching out a living with necessary expenses.
