SHS barbecue, orientation today

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint High School is hosting its annual freshman/new student barbecue at 5:30 p.m. today, followed by a presentation from the principal at 6 p.m.

The free barbecue is sponsored by C.A.R.E., the school’s parent support group. During the orientation, students will pick up schedules, be assigned a locker, get their picture taken for their ID card, have the opportunity to purchase a yearbook, ASB sticker — which gains students free admittance to regular season home games — and purchase Chromebook insurance.

Be sure to have a parent or guardian attend with their student.

Teachers and staff will be on hand to answer questions and welcome everyone to Sandpoint High School.
