'Favorite Christmas' rings in holidays

Northwoods Performing Arts is presenting its annual chorale holiday celebration, entitled “My Favorite Christmas”, beginning this weekend at the Circle Moon Theater.

Performance are slated for Friday, Dec. 6; Saturday, Dec. 7; Tuesday, Dec. 10; Thursday, Dec. 12; Friday, Dec. 13; and Saturday, Dec. 14.

There will be plenty of sleigh bells, angels and stars, hot cocoa, and baby Jesus and the show offers reminiscent stories shared by Northwoods performers, and “My Favorite Christmas” wraps all of them up in a warm blanket of gorgeous holiday music.

Gala night will be held Friday, Dec. 6, for $35 per person for dinner and the show. Show only seating is not available.

For all other performances, tickets are $25 per person for dinner and the show, or $12 for the show only. Senior and student tickets are $10. Dinner service begins at 6:30 p.m., and the curtain lifts at 7:30 p.m.

Gala night features a prime rib dinner by Coffey’s Catering (Dec. 6); Country Snack Shack (Dec. 7, tri tip dinner); Owen’s Catering (Dec. 10, ham dinner); Mi Pueblo (Dec. 12, chicken enchiladas); and Skeyes The Limit (Dec. 13-14, grilled London broil).
