SANDPOINT — Three adults and one juvenile were arrested late Wednesday night for allegedly prowling vehicles parked in south Sandpoint.

Elijah Garrett Marks, Julian David Reichold and Aaron Jefferey Wolthers are each charged with one count of burglary. It was unclear what the unidentified juvenile was charged with because the case file is sealed.

Wolthers, 21, and Marks and Reichold, both 18, made initial appearances in Bonner County Magistrate Court on Thursday via videoconferencing with the Bonner County Jail. Marks was ordered held in lieu of $1,500 bail, while Wolthers and Reichold were released on their own recognizance.

Public defenders have been appointed to represent the trio, court records show.

Wolthers possessed a pill bottle taken from vehicle on Merton Avenue, according to a Sandpoint Police probable cause affidavit. Marks and Reichold allegedly identified Wolthers as an accomplice in the investigation, a betrayal Wolthers took exception to, according to court documents.

Preliminary hearings in the case are pending.

A burglary conviction in Idaho can result in a prison sentence of one to 10 years, according to Idaho Code.
