Youth basketball league available

Sandpoint Parks and Recreation is offering a youth basketball league for third to eighth graders from Feb. 3 to March 14. Registration deadline is Monday, Jan. 6.

Cost is $38 per person or $33 for kids within city limits and there are discounts for more than one player in the family. Jerseys cost $14.

The focus is on fun and fundamentals for girl’s and boy’s teams. Practices are held once per week at area schools. Games are played on Saturdays and a Sandpoint youth sport jersey is required.
