Take the 'plunge' on New Year's Day

SANDPOINT — Are you brave enough to take the plunge? Thanks to the city of Sandpoint and Boy Scout Troop 111, you can jump into the frigid waters of Lake Pend Oreille and say hello to 2020 on Wednesday, New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.

Registration for the jump begins at 9 a.m. and lineup for the jump begins at 11 a.m. at the City Beach boat launch.

There be heated changing and warming tents provided for both males and females. Minor youth will need a parent to sign a release waiver at the event.
