Plein air painting class is announced

On Saturday, July 20, Pat Parsons will be teaching a plein air class on Spirit Lake’s Mill Pond. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The class will meet at at the Brickle Creek Coffeehouse, Highway 41 and Main in Spirit Lake, Idaho.

Participants are to bring their own supplies and a lunch.

Parsons will have a couple of used plein air box easels to sell there if you need one. Those who need one are asked to call Parsons beforehand to let you know.

The class is a chance to learn how to paint from actual life in a beautiful setting, from an expert artist.

The cost for the class is $25 and must be paid at the class. The class is being put on by the Blanchard Community Arts Center. Teens welcome for free with a parent.
