One Act Play Festival is this weekend

NEWPORT — Pend Oreille Players is hosting its 10th annual One Act Play Festival.

Six original, unpublished one act plays will be presented July 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. All six plays will be presented both nights and will both will tickle your funny bone and bring a tear to your eye.

The play are: “Shaming Ava” by Lisa Bruna, “Nerve and Sinew” by ERic Thomas, “Budget Airlines Flight 711” by Bruce Guelden, “I, Phone” by Tom Moran, “Wannabe” by Shelley Stolaroff, and “The Deal” by Mike McGeever.

Tickets are $7 for students, ages 5-18; $10 for seniors and first responders; and $12 for adults.
