Matsiko World Orphan Choir performances set

The Matsiko World Orphan Choir which arrived in Sandpoint this week to perform with the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint will also be performing twice this Sunday, July 28. They will be at the United Methodist Church, 711 Main, during worship from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and again for a one-hour concert at 2 p.m.

The choir performs under the oversight of the International Children’s Network located in Covington, Washington. The group which is composed of orphans from South America and Africa left Covington last October and has circumnavigated the continental U.S. performing in major cities and small towns. After performances here and in Coeur d’Alene and Spokane, they will return to Covington.

The public is invited to join us on Sunday at one or both of these free events to hear this amazing choir.
