Charles Clifford 'Cliff' Berry, 90

Charles Clifford “Cliff” Berry, 90, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019, at his home in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Lakeview Funeral Home.

Cliff was born on January 18, 1929, in Missoula, Montana, to George and Emma Berry, the youngest of 13 children.

He grew up and attended schools in Spokane, graduating from Rogers High School in 1948. He married his high school sweetheart, Belle Messman, and she later passed away.

Cliff married Alice Kay Campbell in 1969. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. Cliff retired from the city of Sandpoint in 1991. He liked to read books, recite limericks and poetry and work in their yard and garden.

Cliff is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Kay Berry of Sand-point; one son, Richard (Carol Jean) Berry of Newport, Washing-ton; two daughters, Lynne (Del) Thompson of Sandpoint and Kim (Mike) Bigsby of Springdale, Washington; one stepson, Bill Eicher; and eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Belle; and his siblings, Florence, Frances, Marie, Ruth, Faye, Floyd, Carlos, Claude, and Richard.
