Facebook requirement smacks of censorship, laziness

I do not know many people that are on Facebook anymore. Nor do I trust its platform to vet potential letter writers and posters to your editorial pages.

Surely you know me well enough, not to mention I am a subscriber to the Daily Bee, to let me post and write the occasional letter. The Bee’s policy of Facebook membership to participate, has run off many people’s voices and seems like either censorship or laziness on behalf of your staff to come up with another plan. Politics is going to get really interesting soon and it is possible I might want to vent an idea or two.
