Community invited to meet candidates

SANDPOINT — “Meet the Candidate” stakeholder meetings will be held to give feedback to the Lake Pend Oreille School Board for each superintendent candidate.

On Thursday, June 13, board trustees will be looking at all applications with the consultants. The board can choose two to four applicants to interview the week of June 17, or they could choose none, Lake Pend Oreille School District officials said in a press release. If they choose candidates, regardless of how many applicants they choose to interview, community/parent “Meet the Candidate” stakeholder meetings will be at Sandpoint High School in the commons the week of June 17 from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. to give the community a chance to give feedback to the board.
