Lake ascending to summer pool

SANDPOINT — The level of Lake Pend Oreille is projected to reach its summer pool elevation by the end of the week, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Outflows at the Albeni Falls Dam were set to decrease from 37,000 cubic feet per second to 33,000 cfs on Tuesday.
The summer operating range on the lake is 2,062-2,062.5 feet above sea level.
