Priest River street repairs start Monday

PRIEST RIVER — Starting on Monday, Road Products, Inc., will be chip sealing and fog sealing a number of streets in Priest River, with completion expected by Thursday.

Chip sealing will be done throughout the week on portions of Tamarack Street, Hemlock Street, Pine Street, Fir Street, Kaniksu Street, North Treat Street, North McKinley Street and Summit Boulevard. Third and Fourth streets will be fog sealed as well.

During this time, city officials and RPI crews request that people do not park on streets that are scheduled to be chipped. Remove RVs, trailers, basketball hoops and any other obstructions. Once chipping is done, be mindful of the fresh road work as it takes time for it to set to full strength. Aggressive turning on to and off of pavement may result in cracking and breaking of edges.
