Feb. 18

A vehicle was reported struck while legally parked in the 100 block of S. Third Avenue at 8:50 a.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement in the S. First Avenue area at 10:17 a.m.

Officers contacted a male and female involved in a verbal domestic in the 1500 block of Pine Street at 12:24 p.m.

An oversized load made it through town with no problems at 3:29 p.m. and law enforcement assistance was not needed.

A civil standby was requested in the 600 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 3:38 p.m.

Officers contacted a male and female involved in a verbal domestic in the 4100 block of Samuelson Avenue at 3:52 p.m.

Officers contacted a male and female involved in a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Chestnut Street at 6:16 p.m.

An officer advised a theft report in the 200 block of Church Street at 7:28 p.m. was unfounded.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Ridley Village Road at 7:51 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate any in the 200 block of N. First Avenue after a report of a prowler at 8:03 p.m.

Officers checked on a juvenile in the 300 block of Cedar Street after a welfare check request at 9:34 p.m. and advised she was fine.

Officers checked a residence in the 1500 block of Autumn Lane after an open door was spotted at 10:34 p.m.

A Sandpoint officer assisted Ponderay Police in the area of Highway 200 and McGhee Road at 11:09 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Feb. 18

An officer responded to an alarm on Bonner Mall Way at 6:32 a.m.

An officer received a call of threats in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 1:03 p.m.

An officer responded to a reported traffic hazard in the area of Highway 95 and Bonner Mall Way at 2:59 p.m.

Melanie L. Taylor-Nuss, 35, of Sandpoint, was cited in the area of Highway 200 and McGhee Road at 11:09 p.m. on charges of driving without privileges, failure to provided proof of insurance and possession of marijuana (less than 3 ounces); and Nicholas W. Voita, 23, of Ponderay was cited at the same time and location on an unspecified possession charge.
