District seedling sales underway

SANDPOINT — The Bonner Soil & Water Conservation District’s annual tree seedling program is underway.

The deadline to purchase locally sourced seedlings is Monday, March 25.

The goal of the seedling program is to provide affordable high-quality, zone-specific seedlings to small landowners in Bonner County. A variety of seedlings are available: ponderosa pine, western white pine, western larch, lodgepole Pine, and Douglas-fir.

The seedlings are container-grown in 8- and 15-inch plugs and will be ready for pickup April 4-5.
