Keith Hyatt, 54, was arrested in the area of Starr Lane and Kootenai Cutoff Road at 1:47 a.m. on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Feb. 20

A vehicle was reported damaged in the 900 block of Hickory Glen Avenue at 7:28 a.m.

Mail tampering was reported in the 1800 block of Spruce Street at 8:01 a.m.

A parking problem was reported in the 1100 block of W. Lake Street at 8:23 a.m.

An officer was unable to locate a wanted subject reported to be in the 1100 block of N. Division Avenue at 8:23 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported in the area of Highway 2 and S. Division Avenue at 9:32 a.m.

A garage in the 600 block of Church Street was reported burglarized at 9:48 a.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported on W. Superior Street at 10:39 a.m.

An injured deer in the 2700 block of N. Boyer Avenue was dispatched by an officer at 10:32 a.m.

A vehicle was reported burglarized in the 1700 block of Larch Street at 12:44 p.m.

Drugs found in the N. Division Avenue area at 1:12 p.m. were turned in to the police department for destruction.

A dog found in the Fifth Avenue area was returned to its owner at 1:18 p.m.

Report of a non-reportable collision in the 200 block of S. Second Avenue at 1:48 p.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on S. First Avenue at 2:11 p.m.

A dog found in the W. Lake Street area at 4:35 p.m. was returned to its owner.

A reportedly reckless driver was located in the sea of Fifth Avenue and Larch Street at 4:44 p.m. and issued a warning.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 100 block of Halley Street at 8 p.m.

A report of fraud in the Hickory Street area at 8:01 p.m. was determined to have occurred in the city of Ponderay and the call transferred to that jurisdiction.

Feb. 21

A female was transported to BGH for treatment from the Pine Street area at 12:16 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Church Street at 4:38 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Feb. 20

Report of a drunken driver in the 30000 block of Highway 200 at 1:59 p.m.

An officer responded to an animal problem reported in the 476200 block of Highway 95 at 6:30 p.m.

Jamie D. Ruel, 36, of Sandpoint was cited in the 400 block of Birch Avenue at 8:22 p.m. on charges of driving without privileges and failure to provide proof of insurance.
