LPO yard sale to aid Children's Fund

SANDPOINT — Lake Pend Oreille High School is hosting a big indoor yard sale this weekend to raise money for the Idaho Education Association’s Children’s Fund.

The IEA Children’s Fund is a special fund devoted to providing financial assistance to Idaho public school children and their families who are in need of money, clothes, food, school supplies or health care. Since its inception in 1997, the Children’s Fund has given $1.67 million to Idaho school children.

The yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the LPOHS gymnasium, located on the northwest corner of the campus, 1005 N. Boyer. Donations will be accepted at the school all day Friday as well.
