Reuter ties for third at GP Invitational

POST FALLS — The Clark Fork golf team competed in the Genesis Prep Invitational on Wednesday at The Links Golf Club.
Junior Cole Reuter led the way, carding an 83 to tie for third. His score was the lowest among 2A District 1-2 golfers.
Head coach Brian Arthun said Reuter drove the ball really well, but his short game was a little off, otherwise, he would have contended for medalist honors.
Freshman Landin Pierson shot a 125.
"He's definitely improving," Arthun said.
Carter Sanroman played most of his round, but had to leave early. Jacob Abbott and Jaden Pierson did not compete in the event.
The Wampus Cats head to Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley at 10 a.m. Monday.
