Bike rodeo being held Sunday

Bring the family to a bike rodeo at Travers Park on Sunday, April 25, between 1-4 p.m.

The free event sponsored by LPOSD Safe Routes to School, Pend Oreille Pedalers, and Sandpoint Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces. No pre-registration required.

Youth are encouraged to bring their bike or scooter and helmet. We will have free helmets for kids that do not have one while supplies last.

The event will feature a bike safety check with minor repairs, and a chance to learn about bike safety and practice skills. In addition, participants can enter a drawing to win a bike.

Panhandle Health District recommends following CDC guidance, stay home if sick, reduce physical closeness when possible, wear a mask if possible, and cleaning hands often.
