Restrictions lifted from most county roads

Weight restrictions have been removed from most county roads, Bonner County Road & Bridge officials said.

In District 1 — south of the Long Bridge — only Jewel Lake remains posted with weight limits. In addition, "no hauling" restrictions are in effect on Eichs Road.

In District 2 — Priest River and Priest Lake areas — Kalispell Creek Road and Reeder Creek Road remain posted with weight limits. They are the only roads posted in the district.

In District 3 — Sandpoint and Clark Fork areas — Trestle Creek Road (from the 800 block going east) and Upper Gold Creek (from Meadowood Road to Rapid Lightning Road), and Rapid Lightning Road (from Upper Gold Creek going north) are posted with weight limits.

Per BCRC Ordinance #422, it shall be the responsibility of the hauler to contact the Road & Bridge Department to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place. These restrictions will remain in effect until changed, at which time updates will be posted.
