LaGraces celebrate 65th anniversary

Robert and Joanna Burke LaGrace are celebrating 65 years of marriage.

The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Aug. 10, 2021. They were united in marriage on Aug. 10, 1956, at Huntington Beach, California.

Robert and Joanna moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, in the spring of 1969 to their current home on North Boyer.

They have four children, Randia LaGrace Sneyd of Lincoln, Washington; Brenda LaGrace (deceased0; Jesse LaGrace of Priest River, Idaho; and Celeste LaGrace Winterroth of Spokane Valley, Washington. The couple also have five grandchildren, Jenny, Corrine, Janell, Robert, and William. In addition, they have 12 great-grandchildren with two more to arrive in the Fall.

Robert was a contractor and custom cabinetmaker and Joanna a homemaker who occasionally worked outside of the home, including at Schweitzer and Silverwood.

They will be celebrating with a private family dinner.
