SANDPOINT DRUG BURGLARIZED

Thieves entered Sandpoint Drug Monday night and made a getaway with all the morphine and crystal cocaine in the store, a small quantity valued at about $35; $10 in halves and quarters from the cash register, four safety razors, 12 straight razors, a watch and a flashlight. An unlocked safe which held about $50 was not opened. Store employe (sic) Frank Sargent, who sleeps on the floor above the store, heard a crash about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, but after listening and hearing nothing more, went back to sleep. In the morning he discovered the burglary and a window broken out at the store’s rear. It is believed the thief is a “hophead.”
