Elks announce Hook a Kid on Golf top finishers

SANDPOINT — The top three finishers from the Sandpoint Elks' annual Hook a Kid on Golf program were honored on Wednesday.
The Elks were unable to hold the Don Leen Memorial Tournament this summer, but on the final day of instruction for the program a competition was held to determine the top finishers. Rajah Brown and Parker Reichart tied for first and Dallen Williams came in second. All three received their awards on Wednesday.
Don Leen's wife, Ann, and his two daughters, Pam Roope and Karen Leen, were on hand to congratulate the winners and present the Elks with a check to help keep the Hook a Kid on Golf program going.
Since 2012, over 300 young golfers have participated in the free program.
